What to look for when considering an online Blackjack site?

Before you sign up for a casino that provides online Blackjack games, it’s essential to make sure that the Blackjack site offers some of the following key features:

  • Exclusive blackjack bonus offers.
  • Excellent software provider.
  • Payment options that suit you.
  • Fast deposit & withdrawal process.
  • Variety of online Blackjack games.
  • Proper Customer Support.

Some of you may not find all the features we mentioned above as very important, some more relevant and some less so.

The point is that we will try to put into account all the parameters that need to consider when it comes to online Blackjack sites.

Exclusive online Blackjack bonus offers

A very significant thing for Blackjack players is to check if the bonuses offered by the online casino are indeed valid for Blackjack.

In some cases, the casino sites will offer you bonuses that are not valid for Blackjack games at all.

In other words – you would sign up for a casino without enjoying the bonus you deserve, and that’s a shame!

So make sure the bonuses are valid for Blackjack, here’s a quick note which bonuses would interesting you as a Blackjack player:

Cashback Bonus, Match Bonus, Welcome Deposit Bonus and Loyalty Programs.

Here are some bonuses you should avoid as a blackjack player:

Free Spins Bonus, Free Spins No Deposit Bonus and Refer a Friend Bonus.

Excellent software provider

There are loads of casino gaming software on the market today, and the competition is on the rise.

Make sure the online Blackjack site you have selected has some of the market-leading software.

Don’t settle for an unfamiliar gaming software as sometimes these providers are permissive, which makes it for you – the players – less transparent software; This can cost you, for example, in an unfair chance of success.

Therefore, you must choose only an online casino established by recognized software.

Quick note – every online casino site featured on DailyCasinoBonus.co.uk is established by the leading casino gaming software, to ensure you get the best.

Payment Options

Another great example of a parameter that is necessary to check before signing up to an online blackjack site is the payment options.

In many cases, a player will finally find the Blackjack site that offers him the games he loves, and even with an excellent initial deposit bonus.

Once the player has done the registration process and has reached the stage where he can finally play, he’s favourite Blackjack game, the casino will ask him to deposit money so he can play.

After all the process the player has done, he may find himself unable to deposit since not all casinos accept all deposit options.

That is why it’s essential to make sure before you sign up for a casino, that it does accept the payment option you have.

For your convenience, part of the extensive coverage our team does uniquely for every casino review is also to check their payment options.

So, you won’t waste your precious time searching and wondering which payment options are accepted – all the information you need is under ‘Casino Review’.

Deposit & Withdrawal process

Perhaps the most crucial part when it comes to choosing a Blackjack site is deposit and withdrawal processes.

Many sites can offer a variety of Blackjack games with special graphics and with the most advanced features.

But if there is a slow deposit or withdrawal process, it worth nothing but giving up on this kind of Blackjack site.

Because sooner or later you will make withdrawals and deposits down the road, and the last thing you should care of is to check why your requests are still on process.

When the money withdrawal process time takes too long it can cause you another thing: while waiting for your funds to withdrawn, you can keep playing on these amounts, and maybe even lose part or all of them.

Usually, the deposit & withdrawal process should take no more than 72 hours.

In extreme cases, you will have to wait up to five days, but in cases beyond that, you may want to look for another Blackjack site.

Variety of online Blackjack games

Another thing you should check before choosing a Blackjack site is to check if the Blackjack game you like is available.

Not all online casinos offer all types of blackjack games, some offering just a limited number of games.

Some will offer just American Blackjack and European Blackjack, while others will also provide Spanish 21, Vegas Strip or Switch Blackjack.

So, you want to make sure before you sign up for a casino, that they do offer the Blackjack game you prefer.

Proper Customer Support

Customer support is critical when choosing a Blackjack site because it’s the only way to contact the casino.

You will contact your casino daily, and it can be for several reasons:

You may want to ask a question about a particular game, or you may want to find out about a bonus you have been promised or check when your deposit is approved.

It doesn’t matter, what matters is what options you have to contact the casino.

Luckily, there are endless ways to contact the casino’s customer support:

Some casinos will allow contact via Messenger or Skype, Live Chat or even robotic help using a sophisticated algorithm.

It all depends on the casino itself, make sure that the communication options your online casino offers, are satisfying you.

We would only recommend an online casino that provides at least two of the following three basic options: Telephone, Email, Live Chat.

New to Blackjack? Get to know the game

So, you wondered what exactly blackjack is and how to does it work?

We will explain it in a quite simple way, so you will get it right away!

The Goal:

in the most simplistic form of the question what the goal is, or what the players trying to achieve when playing blackjack is – to beat the dealer.

When playing blackjack, it’s all about you against the dealer, no matter how many players sit on the table, every player is a stand-alone player against the dealer.

There are three options you can beat the dealer:

First, by getting a hand value of 21, when the dealer hasn’t.

Second, by having a hand value which is closer to 21 than the dealer’s card’s value without exceeding 21.

The last option is when the dealer gets a number that goes over 21. Ok, so how you can lose?

There are two ways to lose in blackjack:

The first scenario when the dealer gets closer to 21 than you.

The second scenario is if you go over 21 (bust) you will lose.

Blackjack Cards

There are three types of cards:

  • 2-9: these cards between two to nine (include) counts as the number they show.
  • 10-K: these cards called Face cards, and each of them counts as 10
  • A: Ace is worth either 1 or 11, depending on which number help you the most to get closer to 21 without exceeding.

Quick note: Blackjack played with normal 52 cards, and suits do not matter.

Blackjack cards explained

How to play Blackjack

First, players require to place their wager before the dealer deals the cards, once the players have placed their wagers, the dealer deals the cards.

The dealer deals clockwise around the table one card at a time:

There are two rounds the dealer makes while he deals the cards, first round starts at the player sitting on the left side of the table in front of the dealer, and the round over when the dealer deals himself one card.

The cards that the dealer deals to the players are faced up (unlike poker when cards are faced down) and the card he deals for himself is faced down.

The second dealing round starts again with the player sitting on the left side of the dealer and clockwise to the last player sitting on the right corner; The dealing round is finished with a dealer’s card face up.

When the dealer finishes deal the cards, every player holds 2 cards which exposed to everyone (face up).

The dealer will have one card exposed at the top (face up) and one card unexposed (face down).

Blackjack Rules

Once the dealer finished dealing the cards, the players can choose how to play their cards; there are a few basic terms you need to know before we can step forward:

Hit – players can decide to ‘Hit’, that means they will draw another card to try and get a better total amount that closes to 21.

Players can hit as much as they want; The risk with hitting is players can “bust” which means the player went over 21, which cause him an instant lose.

Stand – Players can decide to ‘Stand’, which means they wish to keep their hand as it is, it’s a good option if the player got a very close number to 21, but he doesn’t want to take a risk and go bust above 21.

Split – When a player got 2 cards with the same values, he can ‘Split’ his cards into two different hands and keep playing them both with two new given cards from the dealer.

Double Down – Player has the option to ‘Double Down’ when doing so, the player can’t hit anymore.

In other words, once the player has doubled down, it simply says he went all or nothing.

Surrender – Surrender: a player can choose to ‘Surrender’ when doing so, the player will lose just half of his wager.

The player can surrender just right after the cards have been dealt, and without making any other decision before his surrender.

Back to the game:

Once the dealer finished dealing the cards, the players can choose how to play their cards; there are a few basic terms you need to know before we can step forward:

So, how’s the game going?

After the dealer has done dealing the cards, you calculate the pair you got and decide how to play them:

If you got anywhere between a total of 17 to 20, you would rather stand (depends on the dealer’s hand).

On lower sums, consider to ‘Hit’ if the dealer’s hand has a good chance to win.

On small pairs such as 2’s 3’s 4’s, highly recommended splitting them as it will force you to make more than one hit to get a close number to 21, which can make you bust.

Consider ‘Hitting’ without splitting the pair of 5’s as they have a great chance to have a close number or hitting 21 with no way to bust over it.

Types of Blackjack

Let’s have a look at some of the most popular blackjack games existing online:

Single Deck Blackjack – Online blackjack typically played with four to six decks of cards, that gives the casino advantage against the players.

They do so to make sure players won’t count cards, but at the same time, this also increases the house edge.

Today, more and more casinos are offering a single deck option (which was a standard back in the days), which gives the players a better chance to beat the dealer!

Blackjack Switch – In this type of game, the dealer will deal you two pairs of cards (rather than one pair like in a normal blackjack).

You will be able to switch between the top cards in each pair with each other or just ‘hit’ (to ask another card) if the two pairs of cards you got are too weak.

Progressive Blackjack – This type of blackjack game played like the normal twenty-one with the traditional rules, but also involved with a side wager for the progressive jackpot.

While the payouts in the classic version are 3:2, the side bet allowing making much more money by just placing a small side bet.

Pontoon Blackjack – In this type of blackjack, the dealer’s cards are dealt unexposed (face down) which makes it even harder for the players to decide what to do.

As the risk increased, so do the payouts which stand at Pontoon Blackjack on 2:1 (unlike 3:2 in the classic version).

Double Exposure Blackjack – Unlike Pontoon, here the exact opposite happens – all the cards on the table are exposed (face up) include the pair of the dealer.

And because it’s slightly easier for the players to win, the payouts are also decreasing by the casino.
